The First Films
Veil and Alexandra: where the house learned to tell stories.
The collection film
A bride in black at a weathered threshold. A candlelit house and a letter never sent. The first two films, and the vocabulary of everything since.
Before the collections had stages and gardens, there were two short films. Veil sent a black-veiled bride through a pointed stone arch; Alexandra dressed a period romance in velvet and white lace. They remain the house's founding gestures: couture conceived as cinema.
